1. Travel documents:

- Passport.
- Gorilla trekking permit (secured by your tour operator)

2. Health and safety:

- Yellow fever vaccination certificate
- Personal medications

3. Clothing:

- Comfortable hiking boots
- Waterproof jacket and pants
- Insulating layers (fleece, jacket)
- Base layers (moisture-wicking)
- Warm hat
- Protective/safety gloves
- Quick-drying socks
- Waterproof backpack or daypack

4. Gear:

- Waterproof camera housing or phone case
